Looking to volunteer in a shelter? Please help!

Make a Difference: Volunteer with New York City Animal Care & Control (AC&C) Formerly the CACC, NYC's animal care program has a new name, management team, and philosophy. AC&C aims to greatly increase adoptions and animal care services. But we need your help to care for all the homeless cats and dogs until we find loving and warm homes this winter.

Join our Shelter Volunteer Team or our Foster Program. AC&C has opportunities in Dog Walking, Adoption Counseling, Breed Identification, Behavior Evaluation, Grooming, Medical Support, and Animal Care. We have many animals in need of the love only you can provide. Or you can help by opening your home to foster moms, kittens and puppies. Reach Out to Our Greater Community: Adoptions of cats and dogs are greatly increased when you tell your friends & family about our shelters. Join our Events, Community Outreach and Fundraising team of volunteers! Donations: If you can’t volunteer, you can help by sending a donation to help the animals. 100% of your tax deductible donation will go to life saving programs!
